It鈥檚 now official: Terrell Pruitt has lost his seat on Cleveland city council, after on Monday did nothing to change his eight-vote deficit against former councilman Joe Jones.
Pruitt won 2,682 votes to Jones鈥� 2,690 in the Ward 1 race.
Jones, who will take office in January, that reelected Kevin Kelley as council president.
On Tuesday, the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections will recount the Ward 7 council race, where Basheer Jones maintains a 13-vote lead over incumbent T.J. Dow.
